What is this role all about?
You will lead planning and execution of global games marketing. This self-starter should have a real passion for and experience in marketing which include: product, brand, influencer, community, and awareness marketing initiatives. You will have extensive experience in the product marketing of high-profile games on multiple platforms, including PC and Mobile, and with diverse business models (freemium, FSP, Subscription), with deep understanding of digital product development, production, and customer engagement systems.
A day in the life as a digital product marketing manager
- Act as Business Owner and Internal Champion for your Game
- Drive both short and long-term strategic plans and marketing goal setting for your title
- Plan, Develop, and Execute your Marketing Strategy (Positioning, Audience Segmentation, Market Strategy, etc.)
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally to Build ‘Mobile First’ Best Practices (Perf. Mkt, Lifecycle, App Store Optimization, etc.)
- Closely monitor and draw conclusions from key performance indicators such as engagement, retention, monetization, awareness, market share, and ambitious behavior
- Develop and Execute Marketing Campaigns with responsibility for handling a multi-million-dollar budget
What you’ll bring
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Video Game Marketing Experienced preferred
- Experience in PC, console, or mobile games marketing required
- 4-6 years in marketing
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in a business, marketing or communications discipline.
- Hands-on experience tracking and reporting on marketing metrics.
- The ability to develop go-to-market plans.
