We are seeking a Marketing Manager, Trade / Retail to join an innovative and productive team focused on the development of global marketing tactics implemented in local hobby game stores, mass, and specialty channel retailers. As a marketer, you’re a collaborative strategist with built-up wisdom in the retail marketing space, but you relish a test and learn culture where you can push growth in unexpected ways. In this role, your marketing vision will have a meaningful impact, bringing together communities of gamers and helping small businesses around the world thrive!

What You'll Do:

  • Develop Trade Marketing Strategies: create and execute trade (retail) marketing tactics for Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons products in retail channels, associated in-store play programs for the Wizards Play Network (WPN), and WPN Premium benefits.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: partner with internal cross-functional marketing, sales, design, and global teams.
  • Drive Innovation: engage with the team and cross-functional partners in regular test and learn experiments that elicit new insights and growth in our retail strategy.
  • Report Insights: Deliver quarterly KPI presentations.

What You'll Bring:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience with a concentration in Marketing, Business, or related coursework.
  • Experience in Retail / Trade Marketing, preferably supporting a global brand, and experience working with international teams.
  • Experience working with retail marketing agency and design teams to create physical and digital marketing assets.
  • Ability to drive projects forward by providing clear and concise direction/feedback and influencing partners.
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
  • Well developed, verbal, written and presentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • An innovative, growth mindset.
  • Ability to work onsite at our headquarters in Renton, WA.
