Are you someone who prides themselves on executing outstanding work through collaboration? We are seeking a highly engaged and experienced visual creative who loves intensive Photoshop detail work.

The Digital Artist position is responsible for color correcting and editing illustrations for print media. The Digital Artist team provides electronic image manipulation services as required by each individual job, including image cleanup, digital manipulation, color separation, production assembly and content editing.

What You'll Do

  • Refine and modify images/illustrations for print and digital media through retouching, color correcting, managing ink density, sizing, cropping, proofing, manipulating content, generating clipping paths, hand-brushing spot plate masks, and working with scripting/action workflows to optimize all of the above, while organizing files with proper naming conventions
  • Create new and updated images by adding new backgrounds, extending cropped characters to be fully realized, recreating pieces from different angles, reimagining settings with dynamic lighting
  • Script/tool work can include creating bespoke scripts and actions within the Adobe Creative Suite, this can include Adobe Scripts and GREPs .
  • Route work for revisions and approvals, communicate ideas and technical specifications between Art Direction, Production Artists, Design, Production Management, and vendors

What You Bring

  • Expert level knowledge of Photoshop and familiarity with Actions/Scripts
  • Excellent color vision and knowledge of color theory and an understanding of ICC color management
  • Ability to complete work accurately in time-sensitive environment and perform repetitive actions while retaining focus and reliability
  • Ability and willingness to learn, adopt and create new methods and processes
  • Excellent customer service skills including the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people who share your love of pop culture
  • Core competency of Abobe workflows / Mac environment required
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and critical eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently and accurately while meeting deadlines
  • Communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to a variety of experience levels
