This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Producer to join the Magic: The Gathering Arena production team. In the Wizards’ Digital Game Studio, we foster strong positive relationships across component teams within the company. In this role you will be responsible for a squad of developers focused on crafting visual content for Arena.
The ideal candidate is passionate, hardworking and eager to join us in our aim to elevate Wizards’ digital efforts to be outstanding.
What you'll do:
- Work with your squad to break out project deliverables and scope goals accordingly
- Coordinate the work of cross-functional development components which impact your features and content deliveries
- Address potential problems like resource blockers, quality concerns, and scope changes with other members of the Production team
- Craft clear, detailed, and proactive communication to your immediate squad, and throughout Arena at large
- Handle prioritization and scheduling of tasks, bugs, design iteration, and user/tester feedback
- Maintain art and production documentation
What you'll bring:
The successful candidate has a strong mix of creative, innovative, and production capabilities from the live services and/or gaming space.
- Digital game development experience with at least one commercially shipped title in a production role
- Experienced with art and software development processes and project management
- Able to run a project from start to finish with minimal input from management
- Motivated to facilitate and troubleshoot for individual contributor and different art squads towards a common goal
- Outstanding oral and written communications skills
- Passion for continuous improvement
- Experience in one or more art fields (Animation, 3D/2D/VFX) is a plus!
- Experience playing Magic TCG and working with CCG is a plus!
