We are looking for a LiveOps Designer to join our growing team.
The Role
Well Played Games are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic LiveOps Designer to work within their mobile free-to-play development team. This person will coordinate between multiple stakeholders to setup, test and maintain operations on our live games. This person should be mechanically minded, with a close attention to detail and excellent communication skills, even when working under strict deadlines.
- Make use of analytics to balance the core-loop on a live product
- Identify missing strategies, within the game, and define how best to support them
- Update the meta on a semi-regular basis to keep the experience fresh
- Design and directly add new characters and other content types
- Help define the content cadence for the product to maximise player engagement and support its monetisation
- Take part in the Community to inform and engage players, cultivate a healthy community, and gather actionable feedback
- Create visual content for on social platforms and game campaigns
- Write lore text for characters and events on a live product
Your Skills and Experience
- Worked on at least one launched title; ideally, designing for a live game
- Showcase portfolio / website, demonstrating design work
- Player of competitive mobile F2P games
- Special interest in card games
- Experience with Photoshop or similar graphics package
Desirable:
- 2+ years in game development
