We're seeking some ninja modelling skills. 6 month contract helping us build realistic environments for a new action orientated mobile project.
Well Played Games is a small but experienced games development company based in Leamington Spa who develop a variety of video games across a range of platforms. Founded in 2017, we are looking for an experienced 3D artist to join our dynamic team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be an experienced modeller, able to efficiently create a wide range of environment assets. Level building, prop creation and lighting are key aspects of the role, so candidates must have mobile game development experience in these specific areas. You should be imaginative, self-sufficient and versatile, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your work.
Key Skills and Experience
- Skilled polygonal modeller with experience creating and integrating optimised mobile game assets
- An eye for detail and polish, able to turn simple 2D concept designs into beautiful textured models
- Long term vision and strong imagination, take a whole level from basic design idea to finished game asset
- Self-organised, able to accurately estimate workload
- Experience with Unity
- Enjoys working in small, dynamic teams on established brand IP
You Should Have
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of environmental assets
- A self-sufficient, motivated, team player mentality
- 2+ years game industry experience in a modelling role on mobile projects
