WB Games Montréal, a division of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE), seeks a Project Manager, Localization.

As Project Manager, Localization you will own the localization process for large scope games and may assist others with managing the localization for mobile games. You will work with and be the point of contact for multiple groups that provide localized assets, localization and QA for the Localization Department as well as an internal localization integration team.

Responsibilities

  • Localization project management of titles from pre-production through to Live support
  • Work with Studios, Publishing and Tech Ops to create and maintain localization development schedules
  • Identify risks and work with partners on mitigation planning
  • Work closely with Production and Studios to keep all stakeholders aware of current localization status on each project
  • Ensure localization quality is of a high standard, and budgets stay on target
  • Validation of all localization assets (VO)
  • Managing Q&A between Localization vendors and Studios
  • Chair and keep notes for regular meetings with Studios and Production
  • Identify any issues with Localization and QA vendors and work with them to resolve these

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years in localization project management experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of VO management experience

Skills/Knowledge

  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Multilingual (English/French bilingualism required)
  • Demonstrated production leadership through numerous product cycles, including multi-SKU projects, on all current and next generation 1st party hardware
  • Knowledge of game industry trends in game design, hardware, software, and production practices
  • Ability to motivate teams and work in conjunction with development teams
  • Broad technical skills
  • Experience with LocalizeDirect, Gridly and MemoQ a plus
