Washington E-sports Ventures was founded to purchase an Overwatch League team and build additional esports teams that will represent the thriving Capital Region incorporating all of Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginiaβ€”from Baltimore to Richmond. The company is led by Mark Ein, a Washington-area businessman, civic leader, philanthropist, sports team owner, and native Washingtonian. Mark and his ownership group believe in the power of sports as a platform to inspire people and bring communities together. The Company's esports assets, including the Overwatch League team, will be part of Mr. Ein's existing sports portfolio that owns the Washington Kastles, one of the most successful teams in the 45-year history of World Team Tennis, embraced by the Capital Region since its founding in 2008.


The Washington Justice is looking to hire a translator for their competitive Overwatch League team. The applicant must be located in the DMV area or willing to relocate. This is a 6 month contractor role with the potential to move into a full-time position

Duties include:

  • Read, write, and speak Korean and English languages fluently
  • Understand Overwatch League material and gameplay
  • Communicate scrim information and ideas clearly, and concisely in a fast pace manner
  • Interpret daily conversations
  • Convert management information from one language into another, such as; Announcements, Scheduling, Travel
  • Compile information and technical terms into glossaries
  • Travel in the United States and Canada for matches

A successful candidate is able to:

  • Bridge daily conversations between English and Korean speaking players and grow relationships
  • Interpret gameplay material in a face paced environment

Requirement & Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Overwatch
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
