The World of Tanks Blitz team is looking for a Server Developer.

The development team is actively working on the project, creating new features, and improving the existing ones. To make sure all our ideas are realized on time and in the best possible way, we're constantly looking for talented professionals who love what they do and are always eager to improve their skills.

What will you do?

  • Prototype and create new features for the matchmaker and server economics
  • Support the project's existing features
  • Integrate side services into the World of Tanks Blitz server

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent knowledge of classic algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
  • Basic knowledge or work experience with C++
  • Readiness to work with Python most of the time
  • Logical thinking and excellent self-management

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Proven knowledge of server technology, network protocols, and databases
  • Experience writing server code for multiplayer games and real-time game modes
  • Experience working in high-load client/server application development (full cycle)
  • Familiarity with mobile game development nuances
  • Experience working in the gaming industry and a desire to create games

The World of Tanks Blitz team provides its employees with days of free programming. For one week every two months, a developer can work on their own ideas.
