Job Overview

Our team is working on an exciting new mobile game and is looking for a Senior Manual QA Tester to come on board to support us on the road to a successful global launch.

Reports To

Senior Manual QA Tester will report to QA manager

What will you do?

• Carry out manual testing on different mobile devices
• Support developers with testing their newly developed features
• Finding and reporting of all the defects and following up on them
• Carrying out frequent sanity checks on new builds
• Work with a bug-tracking system (Jira)
• Give feedback and actively participate in different stages of feature development
• Monitor crash report systems and logging issues after assessment
• Respond to our player support representatives
• Be the champion of quality within the team

What are we looking for?

• 3 + years in mobile manual testing, preferably in games
• Very strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Ability to assess the overall health of the build
• Ability to prepare the build for releases
• Knowledge of submission criteria for iOS and Android builds
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Team player

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Passion for games
• Experience in working with Unity
• Experience in managing an external localization team
• Experience in training junior QA testers
