Reports To

You will report to the Lead Level Designer

What will you do?

  • Work closely with other members of the studio to create enjoyable triple A content that hits the quality bar set by Wargaming
  • Nurture and develop your ideas via clear documentation, aligning the team behind your designs and see your content through from paper maps to bug fixing
  • Help prepare your content for daily playtests and assist in collecting and responding to feedback
  • Assist designers with adding features into your content and respond quickly to changes that arise through production.
  • Build and maintain an efficient pipeline with the art team.
  • Use previous experience and games industry knowledge to assist other level designers and help mentor any junior members.

What are we looking for?

  • 2 + years industry experience as a level designer on a multiplayer game.
  • Minimum of 1 shipped AAA title with at least one current console generation title 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of level design practices and industry standards including game theory, visual guidance, combat and encounter design and map balance.
  • In depth knowledge of modern video game development trends
  • A huge passion for making and playing games, including being self-motivated, proactive and organised
  • Experience with modern level building software (UE4, Unity, CryEngine, etc)

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Experience in 3DS Max, Maya, Photoshop and F2P are pluses.
