Wargaming WDS (Wargaming Distribution System) project — a part of Wargaming’s digital distribution platform, is seeking for a Senior C++ Developer with prior experience of making apps for Windows-based desktops.

The WDS project is expanding rapidly, using new tech and instruments, employing high-load infrastructure 24/7, and serving millions of customers with millions of different PC configurations worldwide. An automated crash report system, multi-level logging, static code analysers, unit/acceptance/integration tests, user-side diagnostics, and minimal legacy contribute to the quality of service and developers’ happiness and professional growth.

Who are we looking for?

• Participated in large-scale projects
• Analytical thinking, a multipronged approach to task solving
• Able to visualize, explain, and defend your choices
• 5+ years of C++ development, deep knowledge of the language underlying principles, problems and ways of solving them
• Knowledge of tech: Win32 (memory management, processes, memory dumps), WinAPI, multithreading, network (TCP/IP, sockets, http), IPC
• Knowledge of libraries: STL, boost
• Knowledge of development and maintenance tools: MS Visual Studio, Git
• Technical English

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Proven knowledge of C+11/C+14
• Basic Knowledge of Python
• Experience with Atlassian products (Stash, JIRA, Confluence)
