Wargaming is looking for a Python (Golang) Developer to join its infrastructure projects development team. The team specializes in large-scale cluster solutions that cover most of the infrastructural stack of the company, such as cluster schedulers, monitoring systems, configuration management.

What will you do?

• Take part in task decomposition
• Develop in Python/Golang: backend, utils, API, workers
• Compose Unit and functional tests
• Participate in code reviews
• Automate routine tasks

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of experience in Python development
• Experience with Go
• Experience in creating REST API
• Understanding of the operation of the HTTP/HTTPS protocols
• Extensive experience with Docker
• Theoretical knowledge of basics of operation of Nginx, Haproxy, Apache web servers
• Knowledge of the life cycle of software development
• Knowledge of Linux OS
• A good understanding of databases and networks operation
• Experience in process automation and integration into CI/CD
• Experience with debuggers in IDEs
• Intermediate level of English

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with queue brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Experience with transactions in KV databases
• Knowledge of the theory and practice of developing high-load and fault-tolerant software
• Skills of on-the-fly code debugging
