As a dedicated Localization Localization Specialist, you will participate in the localization of game client and content for Wargaming.net.

Reports To

Head of Localization QA, APAC

What will you do?

• Responsible for localizing all the in-game assets including text, image, and audio.
• Localize, and/or edit collateral materials related to games.
• Review and fine-tune the vendor translated text by verifying the integrity of the text in the game
• Work closely with internal or external localization staff, and related teams to help all projects meet deadlines with the finest quality

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years in localization industry
• Native Mandarin, Simplified Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
• Fluent English language skills
• Advanced level of skills on translating, editing, and proofreading
• Strong knowledge in gaming lingo for China market

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• 1+ years in game translation
• Bachelor’s degree in major of English and literature or other language preferred
• Passion for games especially military genre
• Experience in working on web content for China market is a plus
• Fundamental knowledge of game or software localization and localization tools
