Wargaming Chicago-Baltimore is looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer for its growing studio. Our environment is a combination of casual creativity and functional productivity with an emphasis on fun games and solid engineering.

Reports To

Development Director of Platform Integration.

What will you do?

  • Lead a team of Quality Assurance Automation Engineers (mentor, performance review, delegate tasks, etc.)
  • Work cross functionally with various teams in the Platform Integration Services division.
  • Planning and carrying out the test of game infrastructure services (high-load, high-complexity architectures).
  • Black/Grey and white-box testing, with major focus on test automation across a wide variety of projects.
  • Through test automation, functional, regression
  • Ensure quality in our web services, RESTful, through automation, functional, regression, and continuous integration testing, stress and load testing, recovery, and security testing.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in testing/developing client-server applications and/or test automation (utilizing tools like Selenium Webdriver).
  • Experience leading a team of Quality Assurance Engineers.
  • Experience working with technical leadership from different departments/discipline
  • Functional experience in QA.
  • Demonstrated coding experience.
  • Practical knowledge concerning the HTTP protocol.
  • You have RDBMS / SQL experience. Knowledge of web-based technologies (Apache/Nginx/MySQL/Redis) is a plus.
  • You have programming experience with, ideally with Python 2 or 3.
  • Stress and load testing experience.
  • Experience of security testing of web applications.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies.
  • You are passionate about playing and creating amazing video games.
