Job Overview

Wargaming Sydney is seeking a Junior Producer to join our team for a 4 month paid internship program commencing from 1st March 2021 until 30th June 2021.

You will work alongside a talented team in a supportive and fun environment. This is a great opportunity for a Junior Producer who is interested in gaining exposure in the games development industry.

In particular, you will help Product and Project managers with implementation of processes, methods and tools to manage the delivery of multiple concurrent project’s features.

Product Manager

What will you do?

  • Participate in ensuring product success along with production teams;
  • Contribute to driving the product vision through backlog management and stakeholder management;
  • Execute on studio's production approach with the opportunity to provide feedback on process;
  • Work directly with the teams to encourage collaboration and empower your teammates to achieve project goals;
  • Report on tasks and issues relating to progress and project goals both within the team and with external stakeholders;
  • Assess risks with the team and raise issues associated with the backlog;
  • Build understanding and communicate the player and business impacts of team's work;
  • Provide insights to stakeholders by representing production realities;
  • Conduct ad hoc jobs related to project support where required.

What are we looking for?

  • You have an Agile mindset (read: Agile values and principles);
  • You are a true servant leader who is highly organised, analytical and goal driven;
  • You have the ability to quickly adapt to change and work well under pressure;
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with leadership qualities;
  • You are familiar with project management software and other task tracking tools (e.g. Jira);
  • You have an understanding of the video game market and knowledge of technology.

Desirable:

  • Having one or more Agile certifications from Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, Kanban University or PMI;
  • A good technical background; although you're not going to be cutting code as part of your role at Wargaming Sydney, developing a AAA game is technical in nature;
  • Familiarity with development using Unreal Engine;
  • 'Highly' recommend that you take the time to play some of our games that Wargaming publish, they are free & fun!
