Job Overview

As a part of Mobile BI team, you will work with multiple mobile products on creating state-of-the-art data pipelines. You are a cloud adept and constantly searching ways to improve existing system and willing to try new and unfamiliar tools. The ideal candidate won’t just help us to maintain and improve existing ecosystem but will also drive new developments.
You can work in a team on multiple projects and can explain complicated technical details to your less technical colleagues.
Wargaming Mobile Data team is based in Berlin office and located in the heart of the city.

Reports To

Director of Mobile BI

What will you do?

  • Identify, evaluate and implement cutting edge big data pipelines and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities to integrate external data sources and APIs
  • Take control of data integration, transformation and processing from various sources
  • Continuous improvement of the reporting infrastructure (BI toolset / data warehouse / infrastructure)
  • Analyzing and optimizing database performance
  • Provide architectural support by building Proof of Concepts & Prototypes
  • Self-Starter to deliver data engineering solutions to optimize both the cost and existing solution

What are we looking for?

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent coding skills (preferably Python)
  • Experience in ETL design, implementation and maintenance (Airflow)
  • Experience with Terraform, Docker, AWS, GCP
  • Able to tune Big Data solutions to improve performance and end-user experience
  • Autonomous and Dynamic mindset.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Knowledge on Visualization and Data Science Tools.
  • Expert level usage with AirFlow, Python, AWS Lambda
  • Knowledge of Google DataFlow, Pub/Sub
  • Google Cloud Data Engineering certification
