The Steam Operations, World of Tanks team works on publishing Wargaming's flagship product on Steam by communicating each day with all regional and global publishing, marketing, design, development, and service teams (Localization, Customer Support, LiveOps, Creative Agency, etc.) to create the fullest and most positive experience when playing World of Tanks while also achieving our goals on product performance.

We are looking for a proactive, dedicated, and goal-oriented Content & Community Manager to join our Steam Operations, World of Tanks team.

What will you do?

  • Write, order, and adapt web articles, marketing emails, and other content for World of Tanks players on Steam in accordance with our customers' requirements
  • Prepare, order, and adapt assets for World of Tanks on Steam based on our goals and the characteristics of the selected target audience, working closely with global and regional content teams
  • Work with the Localization&Documentation team to provide asset localizations in all supported languages
  • Prove your asset presentation to the customer
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager to design the strategy for the community and adapt it to existing internal/external changes
  • Communicate daily with the community (gather feedback, hold streams, schedule rebroadcasts, answer player questions) and collect World of Tanks reviews from players on Steam, syncing with regional Community teams
  • Gather, organize, and manage volunteer teams of experts from the World of Tanks Steam community

What are we looking for?

  • University degree in linguistics or journalism
  • Advanced level of English
  • Experience in working with text in English as a copywriter, author, or editor (providing a portfolio is an advantage)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, BBCode, and any graphic editor
  • Active World of Tanks player (over 5k battles) and vast overall gaming experience
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Attentiveness and enthusiasm
  • Good communication skills

What will help you stand out?

  • Readiness and eagerness to learn and systemize large amounts of information in short periods of time
  • Active Steam user or previous experience writing text or managing communities on Steam
  • Knowledge of other foreign languages
