Wargaming MS-1, the mobile development studio that gave the gaming community World of Tanks Blitz, a famous cross-platform shooter with over 160 million downloads around the world, invites an experienced Community Manager to join the team.
MS-1 is a multi-site studio with primary locations in Vilnius, Minsk, Moscow, Shanghai, and Berlin. Its international and multicultural team unites more than 360 professionals of various backgrounds and experience across all disciplines, including development, publishing, and operations.
The Community team communicates directly with gamers and helps deliver feedback from the gaming community to the developers, and vice versa. Via social networks, Discord, and even battle chats, they keep their finger on the pulse while collecting ideas and feedback. They hold streams, share valuable insight, organize contests, and explain game mechanics so that the games continue to entertain mobile warriors and make them happy because the Community team loves a good mobile or desktop game, which is something they share with players.
They are looking for a comrade-in-arms who will work with players of MS-1's new mobile shooter. They'll share their vast experience with the multi-million community of World of Tanks Blitz players so as to make a worthy contribution to the emergence of yet another gaming community out there.
What will you do?
- Maintain the project's official social platforms by creating structure, providing regular publications, game moderation, and analytics
- Communicate with players on the official websites of the game, maintain a positive atmosphere
- Analyze players' opinions, create reports for the development team
- Create and supervise volunteer teams (helpers, moderators)
What are we looking for?
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English
- 1+ years of experience as a Community Manager
- Experience working with thematic or gaming communities
- Experience with social networks
- Experience maintaining public accounts on Discord, Facebook, Instagram, or Telegram
- Well-developed communication and analytical skills
- Ability to generate ideas
- Good argumentation skills
What will help you stand out?
- Vast gaming experience on various platforms (iOS / Android / Steam / Nintendo Switch), preferably with shooters
- Experience playing World of Tanks Blitz
- Knowledge of Russian
- Working knowledge of video and graphic editors
