Seeking a mid-level Project Manager with demonstrated skills in managing one or more projects. Ideal candidate should have a history in translating dependencies into actionable tasks that can be scheduled, measured, managed and reported. Role will be challenged to design and deliver innovated new products, and features while keeping the day-to-day expectations of internal customers at the front and center. Candidate must have strong logistics skills, a history of success in initiating and building agile development teams. Demonstrating a long track record of interfacing with multi-cultural departments is also a benefit within this role.
In short, this role is responsible for working with Engineering Managers and staff across the globe to coordinate timelines and dependencies across one or more teams and projects.
Reports To
This role reports to the Project Manager Lead and will be based in our Nicosia HQ.
What will you do?
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify and design new value-add features and functionality and bring them to market as vertical-specific product extensions
- Determine and communicate to stakeholders any tradeoffs required when prioritizing one feature over another
- Provide Engineering with thorough user-stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Work side-by-side with Engineering and Quality Assurance to build and deliver product offerings while strictly adhering to business and compliance requirements
- Engage in proactive collaboration and thought leadership with PM counterparts globally
- Coordinate project work teams consisting of BI Services / client / vendor blended teams
- Report and present status updates for communications planning and management
- Facilitate software proof-of-concepts projects from concept phase to production
- Incorporate risk mitigation strategy and contingency planning into projects
- Perform analysis that reflects actual vs. planned variances toward continuous improvement
- Understand and stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape and sector activity
What are we looking for?
- Business Administration, Information, Computer Systems degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years’ experience in managing a project or projects using standardized PM methodologies, especially within the Gaming industry
- Experience within all project phases and knowledge areas: communication, cost, human resource, scope, risk, contingency, time, quality, integration, and procurement
- Process driven mindset, detailed-oriented, rapid learner, enjoys trouble-shooting complex issues
- Strong aptitude in project skills; teamwork skills; strong desire to empower others
- Have experience influencing cross-functional teams, building relationships with stakeholders
- Have strong opinions, weakly held
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet or other standard Project Management tools
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Project Management Professional (PMP)®; PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® a plus
- Familiarity with BI Tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, Cognos, etc. is a plus
- Long-held passion for, and experience with, online/digital gaming is a huge plus
- Fluency in foreign language, especially Russian, is a plus
