Who you are
- B.Scin Computer Science / Software Engineering / equivalent training
- 4+ years of experience working on backend and frontend projects
- Experience with PHP, Laravel, React, Javascript, MariaDB, Docker
- Track record of driving projects successfully
- Comfortable with multiple programming languages and data storage systems
- Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases
- Proven track record of balancing innovation and product stability/integrity
- Experience scaling architecture
- Contributed to a development environment in which enterprise-level reliability was emphasized
- Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to communicate in English (writing and speaking) - a must!
What you will be doing
- Manage projects from start to finish as either the lead or a contributing engineer
- Participate in engineering projects across a variety of Bidshake services from the ideation and design stage all the way through development and release
- Actively contribute to best practices for code rigor, debugging, QA, unit and integration testing
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product excellence
- Contribute to decision making on architecture and technologies
