What We Need:
Our Foothill Ranch studio in California is seeking a Senior Build and Automation Engineer to join our development efforts on an exciting new game using the Unreal Engine! This game brings a new direction for Visual Concepts, involves driving in an open world, and will be fun for all ages.
What You Will Do:
- Take full ownership of our continuous integration pipelines (running in Jenkins) to ensure timely delivery of builds and automated test processes
- Analyze pipelines to maximize efficiency
- Manage deployment and reporting from automated game and performance testing
- Develop in-game hooks for reporting detailed performance analysis
- Lead development and deployment of crash collection and analysis systems for both internal development and live-deployment of the game
- Mentor junior engineers
Who Will Be A Great Fit:
- 5-8+ years of programming experience one or more of: Python, Java, Groovy, C++ or C#
- Experience using Jenkins or similar systems for build automation
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under reasonable deadlines
- Ability to write clean, bug-free, well-documented, and efficient code
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Passion for video games (not just ours!)
