To this end, we are seeking an experienced Junior 3D Animator who can join our team and help pave the way towards our new goals.

Our French studio located in Cergy is specialized in co-development on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms, and contributed to Batman - Return to Arkham (2016), L.A. Noire: The V.R. Case Files (2017), Vampyr (2018), Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered (2019), The Outer Worlds (2019), Marvel's Avengers (2020) and Horizon Zero Dawn : Complete Edition (2020).

For our next cross-platform PC and console productions, AAA game making, action adventure game, game under License, we are currently looking for a 3D animator to strengthen our creative team and work in collaboration with the main animator, the programmers and designers on the various animations of the main characters and creatures of our games.

Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Create high quality animation assets to match the style and aesthetic of the game.
  • Bring characters, creatures and accessories to life to make them unique and believable.
  • Create animations based on motion capture, keyframes or dynamic animation (engine).
  • Carry out rapid animation prototyping in order to be able to test and argue the gameplay.
  • Check the implementation of the animations and identify the improvements to be made.
  • Actively collaborate with teams to create a great gaming experience and game.
  • Support teams in integrating animations and help make the right adjustments.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • One to three years of experience as a 3D animator.
  • A thorough understanding of the principles of animation.
  • A good perception and transcription of human and animal body mechanics.
  • A good culture, perception and transcription of movements of displacement and combat.
  • Extensive experience with the Maya 3D animation tool.
  • The possibility of animating in keyframe.
  • Knowledge of motion capture editing.
  • Knowledge of the implementation of animations in a game engine.
  • Knowledge of rigging, skinning and scripting is a plus.
  • Comfortable in a multidisciplinary environment, knowing how to work with time constraints
  • Passionate about games, art, design and attention to detail
