To this end, we are seeking an experienced Finance & Admin Executive who can join our team and help pave the way towards our new goals.
About the position
The Finance & Admin role will perform a variety of finance, accounting and administrative duties to ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the company, relieving its Management of day-to-day finance and administrative matters.
Responsibilities
a. Finance
- Preparing full sets of accounts for the Company.
- Preparing customer invoices and assist in collection.
- Handling and attending to all banking transactions.
- Data entry for accounting transactions.
- Preparing the Bank Reconciliation Statements and weekly Bank Balances.
- Generating the accounting reports, monthly reports and other relevant management reports timely basis and meeting deadlines for respective reports.
- To perform daily accounting works (e.g., AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, claim and Expenses control, etc.)
- Coordinate and Liase with external parties like external auditor, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents.
- To support and coordinate with other departments.
- Assist the operations director in basic financial performance analysis, forecasting and budgeting
b. Administrative Operational Duties
- Responsible for and oversees the day-to-day running of the office, including but not limited to office stationery, preparation of any administration materials, organizing, equipping and managing the maintenance of office equipment and facilities.
- Liaise with internal and external parties for all administrative matters (e.g. suppliers, printers, IT vendors, etc.)
- Resolve administrative problems, e.g. rental renewal, office insurance, utilities, etc.
- Manage social calendar including celebration of staff birthdays and other special occasions.
- Help organise specific meetings/ events inside and outside of the office.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support as needed to staff, including to those based overseas.
- Manage outgoing and incoming post.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree/Postgraduate. Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Required language: English.
- At least 3 year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required of Skill (s): Full set of accounts, excel, familiar with using accounting system such as Dynamic 365, Oracle etc.
- Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Finance-General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
- A team player with mature personality, independent and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
