POSITION SUMMARY:
The Content Producer/Editor will be responsible for conceptualization and production of Vancouver Titans and Seattle Surge content for web, social and at live events with a focus on storytelling and day-to-day news about the team. This includes the producing, shooting, and editing of video content.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Production of Titans and Surge content focused on the day-to-day happenings of the esports teamโs players and personnel
- Develop concepts, storylines, and production of content that will engage Titans and Surge fans and bring them closer to the teams
- Identify storylines and interest points during both the season and off-season
- Interview subjects off-camera
- Edit content including music selection and graphics
- Capture and log footage
- Manage the transcoding and posting to multiple platforms
- Work in the Overwatch and Surge CMS systems posting content
- Work closely with Social and Digital Media Specialist to capture content for social channels
- Engage with influencers to create co-branded content
- Shoot content or direct freelance shooters when needed
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least two years of related experience, preferably in esports production
- Strong news judgment with ability to identify trending storylines relating to the Titans and Surge players, management and fans
- Strong and fast editing skills in both ENG and documentary style
- Versatile storyteller with a broad range in terms of tone, voice, audiences, content, storylines, and project types
- Strong knowledge of YouTube best practices
- Experience with cameras such as Sony FS5, Canon C100, etc.
- Experience with Photoshop
- Experience with HTML or web content management systems
- Ability to multi-task and work well under tight timelines
- Ability to travel worldwide
- Energetic and driven with the ability to deliver results while working independently; no tasks are too big or too small
