We're hoping to add your deep technical expertise in acoustic systems to our team!

Valve is an entertainment and technology company driven to design and deliver extraordinary entertainment experiences to customers. We hire great people with broad skill sets who also exhibit deep expertise. Acoustic Systems engineers at Valve contribute in a variety of ways: we own the sound quality and reliability performance of consumer audio devices. We design and develop innovative audio architectures including: acoustic elements, playback transducer, microphones, power-systems, signal processing. We qualify design through meticulous testing. We build tests plans and performance qualification to ensure best-in-class performance. We work multi-functionally with the broader design team, communicating goals and driving specifications to ensure system level performance. We work with factory/manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturing, and we build automated, on-line quality control tests.
