Summary
NEIT Esports is seeking a qualified individual to assist in building our esports program. This individual will be responsible for assisting with coaching and some administration in the program.
Minimum Qualifications
- Significant knowledge for any of the following esport games: League of Legends, Rocket League, Call of Duty
- Looking for in-person
- Will do remote work with highly-qualified individuals.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- 1+ year of competitive or professional gaming experience
- Is passionate for esports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Collegiate esports coaching or knowledge
- Knowledge and commitment to all conferences NEIT Esports is a part of. (NACE, NECC, etc.)
Schedule
- Flexible Schedule
- Majorly Afternoon/Evenings (in-tandem with practice schedules)
- Some weekends will be required.
Tasks
- Assistance with Recruiting potential qualified student-athletes.
- Maintain team schedule for academic year - including but not limited to: team practice scheduling, team meetings, in-season and off-season events.
- Availability to be present for Practices, Tournaments and in-season League play.
- Support student academic development, be a role-model for all the students in the NEIT Esports program.
- Develop and improve on game related skills, assist players in growing and expanding on what they already know.
- Assist with activities and program-held events, including community run events.
- Provide ideas for growing the expanding NEIT Esports program.
