Unknown Worlds Entertainment is currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to work on our Subnautica franchise and future unannounced projects. The QA Lead is responsible for organizing, staffing and executing the test process on our projects. Work anywhere! This is a full time position working with a distributed team. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team leadership to ensure the development of high quality games
• Develop and maintain test strategy and test plans for all phases of project development
• Establish QA resource plans for each phase of a project
• Identify tools and testing technology as needed
• Manage external QA partners and communication between organizations
• Manage and mentor internal QA team members
• Work with the community team to solicit critical feedback from players
• Communicate build stability and areas of risk on a regular basis through bug analysis and bug database analytics
• Generate high quality bug reports and regress and verify bug fixes when needed

Requirements

• Multiple years experience working in software QA
• Successfully shipped at least one product on multiple platforms in a lead role
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience leading, mentoring and motivating a team
• Ability to create and manage complex test plans
• Ability to diagnose complex problems and communicate issues clearly and effectively
• Proficient with bug tracking software and bug analytics

Preferences

• Extensive knowledge of and passion for games
• Familiarity with mobile and console development
• Familiarity with unit testing and test automation
• Experience with live service game testing
