University of Jamestown, located in Jamestown, N.D., is accepting applications for a Head Coach for our highly successful competitive intercollegiate esports program.

The opening is a 10 month-full-time position responsible for the development and oversight of the program. Responsibilities include program operation, recruiting, and practice and competition management. The successful candidate will report to the Dean of Engagement and Student Affairs.

Bachelor’s degree required. Related experience in a competitive setting or an equivalent combination of education and collegiate experience. A strong commitment to the student-athlete concept and a working knowledge of esports rules and regulations is required. Additional requirements include strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, and the capacity to model mature, responsible leadership. The candidate must be willing to work some weekends and holidays and travel with the team to competitions.
