Unity is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to be part of our Quality Assurance team in Vilnius, Lithuania, specifically looking after our Verified Solutions Partner Program. The team is focused on ensuring the very highest quality public releases of third party products known as Unity’s Verified Solutions Partners (VSPs).

Your quality assurance experience combined with a technical background and leadership skills will enable you to excel in your role using cutting edge technologies serving 34 billion Made with Unity installs in the past 12 months. Your work will focus on Unity’s ecosystem of Verified third party solutions.

This role entails collaborating closely with various partners within Unity’s Verified Solutions Partner ecosystem spanning different industries such as Games, Automotive, Transportation & Manufacturing, Film, Animation & Cinematics and Architecture, Engineering & Construction. As a strong member of the team your main focus will be on the quality of the third party solutions these partners build for the Unity ecosystem.

What you'll be doing

  • Create and maintain a repository of tests that targets our VSP partners solutions’ functionality of new and existing features to ensure continuous high quality
  • Execute against test plans to verify the quality of new releases by our VSP partners and supplement with exploratory testing
  • Communicate test results to your peers
  • Investigate and report valid issues, supplying detailed information in associated issue reports
  • We want someone to partner with remote development teams across the business to explore and understand new and existing Unity features. You will review the quality coverage executed during development and contribute to process improvements

What we're looking for

  • You should be comfortable working within an international team and need to be proficient in both written and spoken English
  • Hands on usage of Unity, Unreal or any other 3D engine
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Testrail or Git
  • Experience developing and releasing large complex software projects to a time-based schedule
  • Experience in coding (C# preferred)

You might also have

  • Background in Games development, automotive or film production
  • Experience with platform development (XR, Mobile or consoles applications)
