The Opportunity

You will be part of the team responsible for managing and coordinating releases of our products to over a million developers and billions of end-users. Working from our hip offices in Montreal QC, you'll collaborate with multiple local teams as well as teams across our US and worldwide offices.

What you’ll be doing

  • Combining technical expertise and excellent people skills to drive a wide variety of programs including new product launches, service updates, regulatory compliance, etc.

  • Investigating and advocating for methodologies to help contributors "do the right thing" by default. Contributing directly to tooling and automation development efforts to implement and support these methodologies.

  • Working closely with producers, product managers and engineering leads to plan the schedule and scope of Unity releases and to deliver on these plans.

  • Delivering weekly releases to internal QA, alpha/beta testing groups and live customers. Monitoring release metrics to maintain a comprehensive picture of release health and to report to key partners.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience managing product releases or sophisticated software projects with complex dependencies and multiple contributors.

  • Software development experience.

  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, Perforce, etc., and a solid understanding of CI-CD principles.

  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to navigate evolving situations.

  • Experience working with geographically diverse teams.

You might also have

  • Expertise with package managers such as npm, scripting and markup such as Helm, YAML, XML, TypeScript or Python.

  • Experience with containerization technologies - e.g. Docker, etc.

  • An interest in computer games or software for creative applications.
