Unity’s Montreal studio continues to expand into the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry. Part of this initiative involves developing the software architecture and designing systems to improve the quality of life of our developers and optimize their workflow.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Software Release Manager to join Unity in expanding to the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) fields. You have experience with CI/CD pipelines. You like to align complex, moving pieces, bringing them together into a whole.You are up for providing guidance, support and tools to help teams deliver consistently and smoothly.

What you will be doing

  • Work alongside developers and release managers from the AEC team, to help vertical teams plan and coordinate app releases
  • Coordinate with QA and development leads to mitigate risk to releases
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD infrastructure for AEC Vertical teams
  • Keep CI/CD related technical documentation up to date
  • Evaluate technical risks related to releases' code critical changes

What we’re looking for

  • Having participated in the planning and delivery of apps, in a liveops environment
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and devops tools
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with release automation
  • Unity and C# knowledge

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Android or Apple app deployment
  • Experience working in a distributed environment
  • Experience with agile methodologies
