At Unity, our QA team members are the test and quality professionals. We rely on communication and collaboration to help the whole team deliver quality software. We are responsible for driving the quality culture and solving the hard problems in quality for the entire team.
You will work as embedded QA engineer in the UI Group in Montreal but you will also be part of a global QA community that actively works to ensure the functionality, stability, and usability across all of Unity’s Core features.
In this role, you will help drive the quality effort for your team. In addition to writing and executing tests, you will guide them towards the best balance of automated and manual tests and ensure that the right tools and processes are in place to make the development process efficient and enjoyable.

What you'll be doing
- Work closely with developers to provide early feedback on new features, their functionality and usability
- Grow and improve our automated tests, framework and infrastructure
- Mentor your team on quality practices
- Develop and maintain the test approach for your designated areas of the product
- Build test projects and examples that showcase and validate the Unity UI tech and tools
What we're looking for
- Passion for testing and software development and for solving hard problems
- Openminded yet critical thinking
- Programming experience with C# and/or other languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You might also have
- Solid understanding of using Unity
- Working knowledge of how to create and maintain reliable automated tests for UI
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development tools
