Our team is looking for a skilled senior software engineer to collaborate with a global multi-disciplinary team and work on the Asset Store. You will design and create reliable, high performance web applications. Your passion for quality and love of learning in a blameless environment will shape and grow team practices and culture.
The Asset Store team is responsible for maintaining and developing innovative features on Unity’s Asset Store website. You will be working with the team towards creating the best in class marketplace.
What you'll be doing
- Write high-quality responsive mobile-friendly and scalable code that supports existing and future functionality of the products
- Ensure performant, scalability and accessibility through effective code, architecture, and data storage design
- Collaborate with Product managers, QA and designers to ensure high-quality delivery
- Mentor engineers and contribute to the continued professional growth of the team through architecture decisions, design reviews, and peer code reviews
What we’re looking for
- Ability to break down large sophisticated problems and to prioritize work
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript
- Strong proficiency with React or Next.js and Unit testing.
- Passionate for crafting mobile-first, cross-browser friendly, performant, and accessibility web applications
- An obsession with quality outcomes
