The opportunity
We are looking for a Product Manager with a passion to deliver value for the customers by understanding their needs, developing products and bringing these products and features to the market in collaboration with other product teams. You love being a part of the game industry and get joy from empowering creators to make outstanding and innovative content. In this role you will use your expertise in doing user research, building product strategies, product managing the development work and leading go-to market efforts to help shape the future of game design and development. You will be joining the Research Labs team composed of talented folks in search of new ground breaking methods to author content and help storytellers.
We come up with novel ways of connecting game design and development in a way that enables game designers to control the game system and economy design all the way from the idea to actual implementation and live game. In the end, we want our customers to build better experiences for their players.
What you'll be doing
- Develop, prioritize and execute strategies and roadmap with the team and its customers to radically transform how games will be built and played in the future
- Drive alignment across partners from executives, engineering, product, UX designers, operations, sales, customer success, and legal
- Lead our collaboration with game studios ensuring the value of the product and perform market research and analysis for various use-cases and customer problems to resolve where future opportunities lie
- Develop Go-to-Market strategies with clear plans, critical metrics, and methods for monitoring success and risks
- Establish relationships with other teams in different offices to enable working on shared product goals and to craft and improve Unity’s overall product strategy
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience working as a product manager on new, market defining products and / or complex B2B services
- Ability to think critically about product strategy, positioning and customer value
- Ability to convey your ideas clearly across the organization and influence people for alignment
- Drive to collaborate with product design, engineering, data scientists, product marketing and other product managers across the globe
- Strong communication skills, both in writing and in person
You might also have
- Experience in building products from scratch and successfully launching them to the market
- A passion for gaming, game design or products within the gaming space
- Understanding of machine learning, from concepts to implementation
- Expertise in game design and development
