The opportunity
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Digital Asset Monetization and Payments team in Montreal. You will be part of a team that is building a suite of commerce solutions for games & the 3D metaverse. Your focus will be on enabling flawless publishing of digital assets - including IAP, UGC and NFT - into marketplaces along with support for enabling APIs, file formats and metadata.
Our team operates with the cadence of a start-up but with the support of a larger company. In your role, you will use Unity's leadership in cross-platform 3D gaming engines. While our offering is being forged by the needs of games, there are many other industries embracing this challenge, and we expect an exciting mission ahead!
You will draw upon your past experience working with the Unity 3D engine, Mobile App Stores, and Developer SDKs to build tools that make publishing game assets to marketplaces simple. You will work with engineering and sales leaders to gain alignment and construct a roadmap that serves the greater developer community within Unity and beyond. We value prior experience with App & Game Monetization but are genuinely interested in hard-working and analytical people above all. In addition to your shown understanding of product management methods and technical curiosity, you'll use your interpersonal skills, both in writing and in person, and work closely with a broad variety of partners to bring new services to market.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and maintaining the product roadmap and prioritizing in conjunction with other internal partners
- Partnering closely with the engineering team on a day-to-day basis, helping develop team priorities
- Driving cross-functional alignment across partners from executives, engineering, product, UX designers, operations, sales, marketing, customer success, and legal
- Defining hypotheses and A/B test optimization opportunities with our Business Intelligence team
- Capture, prioritize and technically detail market opportunities and feature requests informed by regular engagement with customers
What we're looking for
- The ability to effectively communicate and discuss technical requirements with engineering teams
- Experience engaging global customers and sales across timezones
- Previous experience working in product management for sophisticated products or services

- Experience handling mobile app monetization and in-game (IAP) economies
- Experience with NFT, blockchain or other emerging architectures
