We are on the hunt for an Immigration and Mobility Specialist, who will drive the programs that effectively help us develop and mobilize talent around the world. In this role you will be the point of contact and subject matter expert for all aspects of employee immigration and relocation for the Americas region (USA, Canada, Colombia). Additionally you will collaborate with other Immigration and Mobility Specialists, external partners and the wider HR teams to foster new and strategic ideas and to ensure the delivery of smooth and effective relocation & immigration programmes.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be providing an excellent ‘Users First’ employee experience during every step of a relocation / immigration process, constantly striving to make things better
  • You will continually improve our relocation & immigration processes and policies, ensuring what we do and how we do it is best for our people and scalable as we grow
  • You will manage all AMER region (USA, Canada, Colombia) immigration / relocation cases from start to finish, providing an exceptional service, being highly communicative and dealing with complex matters in partnership with outside vendors
  • You will continuously keep applicants and stakeholders updated on the progress made on their case
  • You’ll be a trusted subject matter expert will work with the business, and our external partners to assess and recommend strategic approaches for relocation and immigration during the hiring and internal transfer process
  • You’ll be data driven, with an analytical mindset, as you will work with SLAs and need to be able to report against these KPIs
  • Occasional early morning or evening calls with colleagues in other global locations and occasional travel for team meetings

Requirements

  • You should have a strong working knowledge of immigration in the US and Canada and be used to juggling busy caseload
  • You have strong Project Management Skills and you thrive in roles that involve both strategic and operational tasks, process improvement and scalability
  • You enjoy solving challenging and complex problems, and are passionate about delivering exceptional service for employees
  • You are highly self motivated and self managing, with excellent time management and organisational skills and is able to leverage your own judgement to execute on your work
  • You are also an extraordinary team player, with a positive and energetic personality and the willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done as well as demonstrating a high level of empathy - you know that relocating is one of the most stressful life events - and you get to support our employees in their journeys
