Our professional services team works across multiple formats building linear content solutions that incorporate groundbreaking technologies like XR, RT3D, Pro Artistry, and VFX. We are looking for a Senior Graphics Developer to build innovative solutions for the creation of cinematic content in Unity. You will be among the first to work with cutting-edge industry technology and have the chance to work closely with the world's best content creators to push the boundaries of what is possible with Unity.
You will be jumping into projects with a selection of great clients and also work seamlessly across internal teams to deliver superb results. You will help lead the collaborative efforts of the project’s creative influence on AR/VR, VFX, and other linear content production, driving teams to massively over-deliver, every time.
What you’ll be doing
Implement new ray tracing and path tracing features in HDRP
Extend and improve the existing render pipeline core functionality
Work with internal partners to design and develop new API's that can then be used by technical artists and creatives to accelerate Unity's graphics ecosystem.
Maintain existing systems, improving performance, testability, and stability
What we’re looking for
Previous experience with Real-Time Ray Tracing
Confirmed programming skills in C++ and C# and shader languages like HLSL
Extensive knowledge of real-time 3D graphics and modern graphics APIs
Understanding of modern engine systems and rendering architectures and experience working on real-world productions or large multi-platform engines
Ability to collaborate with developers, customers, and leadership, both verbally and via documentation
You might also have
Familiarity with the Unity render pipelines, including Shadergraph, VFX Graph and HDRP
Familiarity with render/frame graphs or other graph optimization problems
Previous experience with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures used in visual effects, animation, broadcast, and/or film production
Studio experience in gaming, film, or animation
