As a senior graphics engineer on the core graphics team at Unity, you will be involved in the research, design, and development of the core rendering technologies used in the Scriptable Render Pipelines. We specialized in solving difficult problems crucial for establishing the Universal Render Pipeline to be the default render pipeline, as well as supporting advanced technologies specific to the Hybrid Renderer. In this position, you will focus on state of the art occlusion and frustum culling methods and specifically improving the data flow between systems. You will have a direct impact on the core functionality that enables our next generation rendering technology. You will work directly with some of the best graphics and system developers in the world. This is a permanent position at Unity in which we hope for you to join our family of developers and grow into key contributor.
Responsibilities
Improve the data flow between occlusion culling systems and the rendering engine
Develop features for our state of the art occlusion culling system
Collaborate with multiple teams (DOTS, Hybrid, Universal) in both design and development
Continual improvements of existing core rendering technologies
Requirements
Extensive experience with game engine and graphics technology
Knowledge of C# and C++
Follow trends of real-time graphics research
Have worked on platform technology (console, mobile, etc)
