Our team is seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to collaborate with a global, multi-disciplinary team on the Asset Store. You will design and develop reliable, high-performance full stack solutions, from cloud services to user-facing features. Your passion for quality and continuous learning will help shape and elevate our team's practices and culture.

The Asset Store team is responsible for maintaining and developing innovative features for Unity’s Asset Store platform. You’ll collaborate with the team to create a best-in-class marketplace experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain full stack solutions for the Asset Store platform, ensuring both backend and frontend are scalable, efficient, and future-proof.

  • Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability through effective code, architecture, and data storage design, with a focus on monitoring and observability.

  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of major features and services, from backend APIs to frontend interfaces.

  • Collaborate with Product, QA, and Design teams to deliver high-quality features that align with business goals.

  • Contribute to the team’s technical growth by participating in architecture decisions, design reviews, and peer code reviews.

  • Mentor engineers and support the team's professional growth.

What we're looking for

  • Proficient in GoLang for backend and JavaScript/TypeScript with React and Next.js for frontend.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and align solutions with business needs.

  • Solid understanding of backend architecture, including security best practices, databases, caching, and microservices.

  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and frontend optimization.

  • Embraces DevOps: “You build it, you run it.”

  • Comfortable working asynchronously in distributed teams and communicating effectively.

You might also have

  • Experience with Cloud Services (GCP knowledge is a plus).

  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.

  • Experience managing or running an e-commerce platform.
