The opportunity
As a Senior Compensation Partner, you will be accountable for providing expert compensation guidance and support to a large business unit within the organisation. Your role is pivotal in developing and executing compensation strategies that align with the business unit's objectives and contribute to the overall success of the organisation. You will collaborate closely with HR business partners, finance, and other stakeholders to design and implement effective compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. Your ability to influence and collaborate across functions will be essential in driving data-driven decisions and addressing complex compensation challenges.
What you'll be doing
Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert on compensation matters for your assigned business unit & take ownership of compensation-related initiatives within the business unit, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with overall compensation strategy.
Collaborate with HR business partners, finance, and other stakeholders to understand the business unit's needs and objectives and influence compensation-related decisions.
Utilise compensation analysis and market data to inform and drive compensation strategy decisions within the business unit.
Effectively communicate compensation programs and policies to stakeholders, promoting understanding and buy-in.
Proactively identify areas for improvement in compensation practices and recommend innovative solutions to drive talent attraction and retention.
What we're looking for
Have deep knowledge of compensation practices
Advanced Excel skills, including index+match, vlookup, pivot tables, nested IF statements, charts and visualizations, data cleaning and verification techniques.
Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Flexibility and openness to changing priorities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within set deadlines
Strong stakeholder management experience
You might also have
Experience within a global technology company.
A CCP, GRP or CECP WorldatWork certification.
