What you’ll be doing
Working on backend services that serve millions of players and creators
Taking responsibility for designing and implementing the BE for features on our product roadmap, ensuring seamless integration with our mobile frontend
Automating deployment and testing to keep our team's efficiency high
Ensuring we can observe and understand our running system
Owning the delivery and reliable operation of all our backend services
What we’re looking for
Expertise building NodeJS services using TypeScript (or be able to get up to speed extremely quickly)
Good understanding of RESTful web services, GraphQL and PostgreSQL
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure in the AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS and Serverless) and GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL) ecosystems
Experience setting up and using monitoring tools (we use Datadog)
Understanding of CI/CD and IaC services, such as GitHub Actions and Terraform
You might also have
Integrating web services into mobile clients, especially monetization related
Data pipelines for analysis or experience using Unity/C#
Any experience with game backends and related challenges, such as real-time multiplayer services
