The games industry has evolved from a box product model to a live service one, and Unity is at the forefront of providing game developers with the tools and services they need to best operate their games.

As a Partner Manager, Publisher Operations Game Services you will work directly with live gaming publishers of all shapes and sizes. You will act as a game developer’s product consultant, live game expert, and operational guru. This role will be closely involved with guiding developers towards best practices, data-driven decision making, and making games that can live on for years.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working directly with Unity’s game developers to best utilize Unity Gaming Services (UGS) services like analytics, player engagement (A/B testing, campaigns, etc), and other backend services
  • Provide tailored consulting to game developers by tearing down their games and analyzing how to improve them.
  • Work closely with Unity’s product teams to represent the voice of the customer
  • Drive gaming thought leadership through usage of Unity’s services and data analysis

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong client-facing skills to work with external game developers
  • Experience working on a live game (mobile, PC, console, or all of the above!)
  • Ability to work with data-driven visualization tools
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, visual, and written)
  • Live operations experience on a game

You might also have:

  • SQL experience
  • Experience using either in-house or 3rd party services for analytics & player engagement (ex: deltaDNA, Braze, Firebase, etc.)
  • Experience with the Unity Engine or Editor
