Role description

Unity Technologies is looking for a Marketing Artist to guide the growth of Unity’s studio partners. The role will involve engaging and coordinating with internal and external teams to drive successful ad creative innovations, experiments, and successful user acquisition campaigns.

The indie community is full of talented and creative individuals who are building innovative products and in some cases establishing companies who are looking to bring their passion projects to the market. In this role, you will work as part of a cross-functional team that looks to bring these projects to the market. You will personally oversee many studios’ ad creative concepts and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Create, illustrate, and animate video, display, and/or playable advertisements for a variety of mobile games
  • Work hand-in-hand with user acquisition teams to analyze what types of creatives perform optimally and at lowest cost
  • Understand and benchmark mobile ads in the market
  • Define, experiment, and iterate on ad concepts for our partner studios
  • Understand and define creative trends in game advertising

Requirements

  • Proven excellence in 2D using tools like After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Strong marketing mindset and must be comfortable working closely with business/data teams to build ads with high engagement
  • Willingness to iterate on work in order to drive incremental improvement in creative performance
  • Knowledge of the mobile advertising industry, from ad channels to creative technologies
  • Ability to communicate effectively, to work independently and manage work within deadlines
