Role description
Our team at Unity Montreal is looking for an experienced QA Manager. You will lead teams across our Editor organization which UI, Accessibility, World Building and Data Oriented Tech Stack . You will be based In Montreal. We are a global and distributed company, so you will also collaborate with teams across our other U.S. and worldwide studios, and you will have opportunities to travel.
As a QA Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with many teams in the R&D and Quality organization to make sure we have coverage on every feature and package we ship, as well as making sure we have proper analytics . Unity development ecosystem is complex and upcoming tasks can be daunting, so you must be comfortable with dealing with complexity and ambiguity.
You will be key to work with development teams with a global mission of improving the way we work to deliver outstanding quality to our users.
Responsibilities
- Work with development leaders across the organization to improve quality upstream
- Improve development pipeline
- Work with release managers to improve and define release criteria
- Help drive talent improvement as part of the management team
- Being an experienced but hands-on manager who can build an organization
Requirements
- Experience with shipping large, complex products and services
- Previously managed large teams (5-10+ members)
- Extensive experience in the software development industry
