Unity is looking for a senior QA Lead for two of our Core teams.
At Unity, our QA team members are the test and quality professionals. We rely on communication and teamwork to help the whole team deliver quality software. We are responsible for driving the quality culture and enable the solving of hard problems in quality for the entire team.
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to manage two QA teams for the Packaging and Distribution Group as well as our Platform Foundation Group. These are two critical areas where quality is a must. Your key focus will be the performance and output of your QA teams who will be embedded in various development teams. But you will also be part of a global QA team that actively works to ensure the functionality, stability, and usability across all of Unity’s Core features.
In this role, you will engage with producers, product managers and development teams to work on test strategies and approaches for a variety of projects. You will be actively involved in driving for a balance of automated and manual tests, and in ensuring tools and processes are in place to continually improve quality across the team. In addition to leading the team towards a culture of quality, we you are hands-on and empowered to dive in and solve technical testing challenges as needed.

What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with Development, Producers and Product Managers to ensure we are delivering the highest quality software we can, with an emphasis on improved engineering flow
- Drive the development teams towards continuous improvement and higher quality
- Tackle technical problems and lead the team to solve their technical problems
- Connect with peers and teams across Unity to ensure a quality end-to-end experience of what we make
