About Ultra

Ultra is a blockchain company launching a PC games distribution platform initially and ultimately an app ecosystem. Ultra offers a highly integrative user experience and new business models for developers, gamers and influencers. Our goal is to unify the fragmented gaming industry around one platform.

The combination of cutting-edge technologies we use (including blockchain) enables Ultra to aggregate all gamers’ activities in one place: from buying, playing and reselling games, to accessing live-streaming platforms, tournaments, reviews and contests, as well as interacting with communities and brands.

The team is currently composed of 60+ full-time members, working across 5 continents.

The Role

Ultra's platform consists of an ecosystem of apps and features offering a custom, complete experience to every user. From streaming solutions such as Theta, to Cudo for easy mining – Ultra is home to a large and growing number of partnering apps.

We’re looking for someone to join our team to manage our existing partners and identify new opportunities to expand and grow these relationships. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who can build and lead our relationships with senior stakeholders, handle technical conversations with product teams, and lead commercial partnership negotiations.

Key Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of the gaming industry
  • 5+ years of experience in business development in tech, with several years of experience managing platform partners
  • Expertise developing business cases, revenue models, and familiarity with legal agreements
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects with internal and external stakeholders, from detecting the opportunity of a partnerships to following up on its implementation
  • Experience working with marketing managers, revenue managers in the gaming industry
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Autonomous, proactive, impact (KPI) driven, focused, with great communication and reporting skills
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written

It's great if you also have:

  • Previous experience, or good knowledge of the application/software industry (music streaming, productivity apps, …)
  • Previous experience, or good knowledge of the hardware/retail industry (peripherals, merchandising, …)
  • Previous experience in the NFT space
  • Previous experience building/managing a team of business developers
  • Already worked in a globally distributed, and fully remote company

What you will do:

  • Identify new, high-potential partnership opportunities for the Ultra platform.
  • Establish, manage and nurture these partnerships to enable our and our partners’ success, increase the adoption and use of Ultra, strengthen and expand our relationship, and execute upon our overall platform strategy
  • Evaluate the strategic and economic impact of potential opportunities and prioritize your efforts based on impact
  • Under the direct supervision of our CEOs, lead all aspects of deal initiation and execution, from business case development to deal structuring and negotiating
  • Collaborate internally with key stakeholders including marketing, product, engineering, legal, and more.
  • Contribute to shaping our business strategy and helping us build adapted, efficient processes and scaled engagement models.
