Since 2004, Ultimate Gaming Championship (UGC) has set out on establishing itself as the world's most experiential esports events company. UGC has evolved with time to match the needs and demands of the professional gaming industry; adding a comprehensive competitive gaming platform, merchandise division, and dynamic content engine to its portfolio of specialties.
In 2019, we launched our first official live esports show, and have been building upon this sector since. We're currently seeking an enthusiastic and creative Counter-Strike: Global Offensive host to join our team and lead this product. In this role, you will host a weekly, live-streamed CS:GO show covering all of the most current and important details around the game (patches, dev notes, etc.) and its competitive scene (upcoming events, results, teams, players, transfers).
Responsibilities
- Be consistently present for weekly recording of live show
- Develop weekly script outlining flow for each show and asset requests
- Use best efforts to secure relevant talent and guests to participate
- Promote show through own social channels
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Counter-Strike and its competitive scene
- Previous on-camera experience
- Established relationships within CS:GO community with players, coaches, personalities, etc. is a huge plus
- Creative and positive personality to help build successful CS:GO programming
This opportunity will allow you to collaborate with a handful of the best creatives to conceptualize and bring to life esports programming with as much potential as you can generate! We're seeking a candidate with experience, knowledge of CS, ability to speak and think on the fly, and a creative mindset that can answer the question: What does a CS:GO fan want to watch? Our team will be behind you every step of the way to be as involved, or as hands-off as you want.
This position is considered a part-time, freelance opportunity where your rate will be determined based off experience.
