Ubisoft International Production is the headquarter of our network of production studios and plays an essential role in the conception of our games. Closely working with the top management and our studios worldwide, our role is to support the various project teams on different topics (production processes, design, content, game direction, financial planning, human resources) in order to enable them to develop high-quality games while maintaining an editorial and strategic coherence. Do you want to embark on our adventure? Ubisoft is looking for a Web Development Projects Specialist - Web Services

Team Description:

Within the headquarter of production studios of Ubisoft based in Paris, the Web Services team designs, produces, and operates applications used by our community of players. The team manages web tools helping game production teams during the production live phases. You will be joining the Web Services Live team, to support and coordinate live operations and web services integrations into games and marketing sites.

Your role:

As a Web Development Projects Specialist, you will be the first point of contact of development, marketing and production teams across studios to ensure the proper integration and functioning of web services, as well as tools and processes, and will coordinate the actions necessary to launch and support live operations. The role has an emphasis on live monitoring, online services configuration, incident management and collaboration.

Missions :

  • You will guide and assist development teams with the integration of web services products in websites and games.
  • You will be in charge of coordinating the setup and processes required to launch operations using our different services (Authentication, Account, Monetization, Marketing events…).
  • You will perform technical audits to ensure the quality of integrations of the web services.
  • You will manage and maintain micro web applications to implement monitoring and alerting for web services.
  • You will be a source of proposals for the continuous improvement of user flows and will guarantee the good performance of the team’s “best practices”.
  • In collaboration with the project managers of the team, you will stay informed of the evolutions of web services in order to keep the integration documentation up to date.
  • You will collaborate with developers in international production studios to solve complex technical problems and implement new features.
  • You will coordinate communication with other Ubisoft support teams in order to carry out your missions.
  • You will be involved in upcoming projects to help translate business visions into technical flows.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree / Engineering degree in computer science, software engineering, web project management or equivalent
  • Experience in web development / web project management with HTML/CSS, PHP, JavaScript
  • Knowledge of web standards, browser compatibility issues, and accessibility issues
  • Excellent skills in written and oral communication
  • Being fluent in English is required for this position of international dimension
  • You are resourceful and proactive; you have a solution-oriented mindset and can come up with innovative solutions. You love new challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to organize and coordinate teams in a multi-project environment.
  • Loving videogames and having a good knowledge of the industry is a plus
