We are looking for a UX Designer to join our newly created Snowdrop engine team. You will work on state-of-the-art game engine technology, supporting Snowdrop to take our games to the next level. You guide the team in defining and optimizing the user experience of our tech solutions. You’ll assess business objectives, user needs and technological capacity and develop concrete solutions, then discuss and apply them in collaboration with the contributors of the project. By leveraging actual engine user data and gathering feedback, you make informed choices to deliver a seamless overall experience for our users.

What you'll do

  • Guide development teams on user experience best practices while reinforcing a user-centred design process
  • Participating in feature planning, acting as the UX stakeholder
  • Following up on the final implementation of features to ensure proper execution of the user experience and design in compliance with the specifications
  • Continuously optimize user experience, usability, and accessibility of the engine by iterating your designs based on user research, quantitative data, and feedback
  • Keep the project team up to date and provide access to user experience-related information all along the design process (scenarios, user profiles, flow, storyboard, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the Snowdrop tech teams to achieve consistency across the board · Work on projects of your own initiative through our Innovation Jams

You as a person

You can work autonomously within your field and know how to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team. You're comfortable presenting and communicating your work and findings to different audiences. You care about details and have a passion for challenges. Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience:

  • Professional experience working as a UX Designer or equivalent, ideally in software development
  • Knowledge of UX design methodologies and user-centred design process
  • Experience working on larger projects working with multiple stakeholders, and a believer in the value of collaborative design
  • Experience with UX design tools (Figma, Axure, Balsamiq)
